GOD IS FAITHFUL

As grandparents, we have the privilege to pray for our grandchildren to allow God to create His design in their lives in His way and in His timing, according to His will.

This week I would like to share a story of praise sent to me by a grandmother in England of how God has answered the prayers of her and her husband. She writes, “Our eldest granddaughter has ended a relationship with a young man who not only was an unbeliever but also had no interest at all in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She is now totally involved in her church and happily serving within the youth and children’s departments. This is something we have prayed for constantly during the last two years, praying Scriptures over her. I am thrilled to tell you she is currently working at a Youth Camp as a leader! God is so good turning around situations as we trust Him.

Our eldest grandson will graduate on June 25 from a Bible College with a degree in Theology. He is going to join as an associate pastor in the church where his father is pastor. His younger brother is currently doing an internship in Australia and will return in December to become the Youth Pastor in the same church. We rejoice in God’s faithfulness to us as a family.” We are feeling so blessed and encouraged at how God is working in the next generation. It is a wonderful thing when you sit in the congregation hearing your grandchildren expounds God’s word. We feel very humbled and thank God for answered prayer.

6 Ways to Love a Grandchild In College

It’s the time of year when college-aged grandchildren are shopping for dorm room or apartment supplies as they prepare to begin a new adventure away from the home in which they grew up. No longer “children” but not yet independent adults. Grandparents must adjust their methods of connection with those I lovingly refer to as “chronological adults.”
