Children Back In School

by | Sep 1, 2008 | 0 comments

“I will guide you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch over you.” Psalms 32:8 NLT

Many of our grandchildren will be back in school this month. They will have new teachers, make new friends, attend new schools, and experience many new things that can sometimes lead them to feel anxious.

Suggestions to pray for grandchildren in school:

  • For physical, emotional, and spiritual protection.

  • For a positive influence from teachers and adults.

  • For peace as they enter new environments and situations.

  • To apply themselves in their studies to develop their full potential.

  • For wisdom and discernment in making decisions.

  • For like-minded friends who will provide good encouragement and support.

  • To recognize the deception of worldly influences.

No longer “children” but not yet independent adults. Grandparents must adjust their methods of connection with those I lovingly refer to as “chronological adults.”
