Christian Grandparenting Network joins RenewaNation
For the past four years, I have had the joy and privilege of serving as the President of the Christian Grandparenting Network. During this time, I have witnessed God’s incredible faithfulness as our ministry has grown and flourished.
Our team’s passion to encourage, equip, and empower grandparents to share their faith in Christ Jesus remains unchanged. We will continue to create valuable resources, offer seminars and conferences, provide prayer tools, and establish Grandparents at Prayer groups (G@P) and GrandCamps. Joining forces with RenewaNation enhances our ability to reach church pastors, staff, and individual grandparents worldwide.

When I passed the baton of CGN to Sherry Schumann in 2020, I knew God was going to bless her leadership in that ministry, and He has, beyond all expectations. A new opportunity for the continued flourishing of CGN’s ministry has emerged. CGN’s merger with RenewaNation under the leadership of Josh Mulvihill, working hand-in-hand with Sherry Schumann and the CGN team, excites me even more. Josh has been a key player in the Grandparenting movement for many years, and his leadership will move this ministry toward a whole new level of impact for the blessing of our families and the glory of God!

I am extremely excited to welcome you to RenewaNation! If you are new to RenewaNation, take a moment and visit our website to learn more about who we are.
God has given us a large vision to transform culture by helping millions of children develop a biblical worldview. We believe grandparents are the second most influential person in a child’s life, only behind parents. We also believe that grandparents have a God-designed role as disciple-makers and need a biblical vision that helps them become intentional Christian grandparents. We have a passion to train pastors to equip parents and grandparents to disciple their family, and we work hard to provide theologically rich resources for the church, school, and home.
There are approximately 30 million Christian grandparents in America and 300,000 churches. Only a fraction of Christian grandparents and churches have a biblical vision for grandparenting. The need is significant, and we feel the urgency of increasing our impact to help grandparents disciple their children and grandchildren with a biblical worldview.
We are so grateful for the incredible foundation that Cavin Harper has laid, the excellent leadership of Sherry Schumann, and the incredible team at CGN that have blessed so many families. We are excited to build upon these legacies, and we look forward to getting to know you.
