A Disciplined Life Brings God Pleasure

by | Sep 15, 2008 | 0 comments

“So, my dear friends listen carefully; those who embrace my ways are most blessed. Mark a life of discipline and live wisely; do not squander your precious life. Blessed is the man, blessed is the woman, who listens to me, awake and ready, alert and responsive as you start your day’s work. When you find me, you find life, real life, to say nothing of God’s good pleasure. But if you wrong me, you damage your very soul; when you reject me, you’re flirting with death.” Proverbs 8:31-33 adapted from The Message

Pray for your grandchildren to listen carefully and embrace God’s ways and not the world’s.

Pray that they will find pleasure in obedience and an intimate relationship with the Lord that will bring Him pleasure.
