Sherry Schumann
Director

As the Director of the Christian Grandparenting Network (CGN), a division of RenewaNation, Sherry Schumann enjoys the privilege of helping grandparents create a legacy of faith in Jesus Christ for future generations. She is passionate about collaborating with churches of all sizes, where she presents seminars and conferences, organizes Grandparents@Prayer (G@P) groups, and establishes new GrandCamps worldwide.
Sherry has authored two books for grandparents: The Grand Expedition: A Practical Guide to Praying for Your Grandchildren and Prayers that Stir the Hearts of Grandparents. Her novel, The Christmas Bracelet, appeals to women of all ages.
Sherry’s life in rural South Carolina is both simple and beautiful. She has been married to her soulmate for over forty years, and they are blessed with three grown sons, three daughters-in-law, and eight adorable grandchildren. Sherry’s heart fills with joy whenever her home echoes with the voices of her children, their wives, and her grandchildren.
Josh Mulvihill
Executive Director of Church and Family Ministry

Josh Mulvihill is the Executive Director of Church and Family Ministry at Renewanation. He served as a pastor for nearly 20 years, has a PhD in Family Ministry, serves as the Chairmen of the board of Awana, and is the author of more than ten books on parenting and grandparenting including Biblical Grandparenting, Preparing Children for Marriage, Biblical Worldview, 50 Things Every Child Needs to Know Before Leaving Home, and Family Ministry. He is married to Jen, they have five children and one daughter-in-law, and live in Minnesota at Prairie Hill Farm. Josh and his wife Jen cohost The Gospel Shaped Family Podcast and Josh can be found at GospelShapedFamily.com.
Larry Hoekman
Ministry Associate

Larry has been married to Linda for over 56 years and is the proud parent of two and Papa of five. His career included 39 years as a teacher, coach, and counselor in both public and private high schools. He is also the author of Intentional Grandparenting with God’s Vision and God’s Word to Me – A Personal Walk Through James, and has presented seminars to grandparents in multiple states. He currently serves on the board of two athletic ministries, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Coaches Team International. Through these ministries, he has participated in basketball outreach in China, North and South Korea, and the Maldives.
Larry has also been a seminar speaker to families, teens, and men’s groups. He has written a daily devotional blog, www.God2me.wordpress.com, for over 15 years. He is now retired and lives on the Central Coast of California. Larry continues to pursue ministry, and his current focus is a ministry entitled Caring for Caregivers. His passion for reading, writing, and memorizing Scripture in the first person has culminated in God’s Word to Me.
Wanda DeLorge
Events Coordinator and Administrative Assistant

Wanda DeLorge has been involved with GrandCamps since 2018. She attended her first GrandCamp with her granddaughter Rileigh and was so taken with the program and its mission she knew that she wanted to get involved. Wanda is married to Tom, has 4 boys and nine grandchildren, Wanda attends Christ Church Anglican in Mt Pleasant, SC, where she recently helped established a new ministry “Grands & More” to share how we can let the Lord’s work in our lives spill over into our children, their spouses , our grandchildren and MORE.
Terri Sherrow
Prayer Ministry Coordinator

Terri Sherrow serves as the Prayer Ministry Coordinator. She is our monthly blog writer who develops user-friendly devotions for grandparents and grandchildren. She leads a Grandparents @ Prayer (G@P) Group in her home church, Clear Creek Baptist Church, where she also serves as Prayer Ministry Director, teaches and writes Sunday school lessons.
Beth Blair
administrative assistant

Beth Blair joined the team in January of 2022 after 35 years as a pastor’s wife, with extensive experience in office management, fiscal management, church administration, and education. She holds a BA degree in Education from Allegheny Wesleyan College. Her combination of ministry experiences and organizational skills provides the needed expertise to efficiently serve the administrative and events as an assistant. As the mother of four grown children with whom she spent 24 years as a homeschool educator, Beth is passionate about the need for children and grandchildren to have the foundation of a biblical worldview. She and her husband, Bill, make their home in Zanesville, Ohio, where they cherish time spent with their children and grandchildren.
Paul and Diana Miller
GrandCamp Coordinators

Throughout 50+ years of marriage, Paul and Diana have gained unique experiences as university, elementary and early childhood educators and as Bible teachers to senior adults and children. Their multicultural and multinational family includes three adult children and spouses as well as 11 grandchildren. Since 2013, they have been deeply involved with CGN’s GrandCamp ministry as participants, speakers, coaches and advocates. The Millers’ books, A Guide to Great Grandparenting and A Parents’ Guide to Great GrandPartnering, describe why grandparents and parents can benefit from positive adult-to-adult relationships and explain how to build and maintain them in the context of “The Family Trinity.”
Cavin Harper
founder, the Christian Grandparenting Network

Cavin Harper was a pastor, camp director, and the founder of the Christian Grandparenting Network. He is the author of numerous books including Courageous Grandparenting and Raising Your Grandchildren. Cavin is passionate to connect all the generations together in the family of God and serves as a volunteer for Mercy’s Gate helping those in poverty and in difficult situations, as well as Awana and Student Ministries in his home church.
Cavin and Diane were married in 1969 and live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They have two adult children, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, plus three “adopted” grandchildren with three additional “great-grands.”
