Prayer Day Guide

by | May 20, 2011 | 0 comments

Whether you pray alone or with a group of grandparents, this guide will provide a road map to help guide your prayer time. It is not a required formula, but the Guide will provide a structure for how you pray together. The objective of this time of prayer is to come before the Lord Almighty in a posture of humility and repentance on behalf the next generations. The Day of Prayer Guide planning guide is ONLY a guide. You can use the guide as it is presented, or design you own plan for the day. We ask only that the time be spent primarily in prayer, and that sufficient time is given for spontanious, individual prayers along with the Scripture readings and written prayers that are provided in the guide.

You may use the suggested format and print it for distribution or write up your own format. A bulletin insert download is also available (see link below). This can be used to print a special invitation to your church or group one side. I can also be used as a  program for the Day of Prayer event.

The Bread That Lasts Forever

Bread baking is one of my favorite pastimes. It began when my mother first introduced me to the art of yeasted breadmaking. Back then, I had to climb up onto a chair to reach the counter. I loved standing there with my mother’s arms wrapped around me while she pressed...
