Do Not Follow The Crowd

“Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong.” (Exodus 23:2)

Sin creeps into our lives and the lives of our grandchildren so subtly and quickly. Sometimes before we know it, we are watching an immoral, degenerate TV show or movie that does not honor God. Our culture is asking our grandchildren to accept living arrangements outside of marriage, same sex marriage, abortion, and other ungodly issues.

As grandparents, pray that God will place a shield of protection around our grandchildren as they face many decisions and choices regarding the social issues of our day in all levels of school, whether in preschool, elementary, middle school, high school or college.

Pray your grandchildren will:

  • Learn to stand firm in what they know is right.
  • Be able to recognize and resist worldly influence and peer pressure.
  • Grow strong in their faith, flee from sin and pursue right living, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

They foreshadowed what the prophet Isaiah told of the coming One who would be brought “like a lamb to the slaughter”.
