The Importance of God’s Word

Dear Lord I pray _________will memorize God’s word and store it in his/her heart. Then the Holy Spirit can bring the verses to his/her memory to keep him/her from sinning.

I pray _______will listen to your Word, obey your instructions, receive your wisdom and understanding in his/her heart.

I pray he/she will call out to You for insight and discernment searching for it as if he/she is looking for a hidden treasure.

Then he/she will learn the importance of reverence for the Lord and trust in Him.

Taken from Psalm 119:11 and Proverbs 2:1-5
